I took this picture just before the surgeon removed Julia's drainage tubes, which prevented fluid from building up around her heart.

One of Julia's nurses told me that older kids say that having the tubes removed is the worst part of open-heart surgery. Well, Julia let them know she didn't like it either. She really screamed when the tubes were pulled out!
