I am a senior with a double major in Political Science and Spanish, and a minor in Irish Studies. Originally from a western suburb of Chicago (Wheaton), I lived in McGlinn Hall for my first three years at Notre Dame and currently reside off-campus. My experiences at Notre Dame have been absolutely incredible, from studying abroad (London Summer Program ‘05 and Fall Semester ‘06 in Dublin,
Ireland) to athletics (I am a member of the varsity cross country and track & field teams) to activities (Gaelic Society, volunteer work, etc.). As a peer advisor, I hope to help freshmen overcome the challenges of transitioning to
college- I definitely have first hand experience with homesickness, changing majors, etc. and would love to lend any insight into overcoming such obstacles.
Most importantly, I hope to ensure that this year’s freshmen enjoy everything this wonderful university has to offer, from activities to events to academic programs, etc. Looking forward to working with you! |

I am a Finance and Math major from Gold River, California. I have lived in McGlinn Hall for the past 4 years. After interning in San Francisco this past summer, I plan to move back to the west coast after graduation. While at Notre Dame, I have enjoyed being a Collaborative Leader for Calculus, treasurer of the ND/SMC Irish Dance Team, and a member of the Actuarial Science Club. I participated in the Notre Dame London Summer Program in 2006 and loved the opportunity to travel around Europe after the program ended. I look forward to being a peer advisor and welcoming you to Notre Dame. Go Irish!! |

Kelly Jones

Hello! My name is Kelly Jones and I am a psychology and sociology major from Wilmington, Delaware. As a freshman, I attended Tulane University for a semester before transferring to the University of Delaware. My sophomore year I transferred to Notre Dame and I could not be happier with my decision! I moved into Walsh Hall and became involved on campus through S.A.I.N.T.S.
tutoring, Circle K, volunteering at the humane society, and being the president of the Sociology Club and the service commissioner for my dorm. I also work in a psychology lab that studies interactions among children and families. After graduation, I plan on pursuing my interest in psychology through graduate study in the field. I am extremely excited to be a peer advisor for the Class of 2011 and I look forward to welcoming you to campus!

Hi, my name is Danielle Slatt and I am currently a senior at Notre Dame. I am excited that I have the opportunity to meet each of you and hopefully make your transition into college as easy as possible. In order for me to get to know you better I believe you should know who I am first. I was born and raised in Burien, Washington. I know what you all are thinking right now and I would like to clarify that it does not always rain in Seattle. My first three years at Notre Dame I resided in Pangborn Hall and this year I am living in a townhouse off-campus. I am a Management Entrepreneurship Major. After graduation my goal is to immediately go back to school so that I can obtain a Masters in Education. I hope that one day I can use my entrepreneurial background and masters to start a school or nonprofit for children.
I cannot wait to meet all of you! |
