I am an English major and double-minor in Theology and Irish Studies from Cleveland, OH.  A resident of Badin Hall, I play inter-hall flag football and have held several different dorm commissions.  I spent Spring Semester 2007 in Dublin and regard my decision to study abroad as one of the best that I have ever made.  My on-campus job is as a student-worker in the Kaneb Center, which I enjoy very much (especially our broomball team!).  I applied to be an FYS peer advisor because Notre Dame has given me a lot to be thankful for, and I would like to repay the University by helping new students feel as comfortable here as I do.  Welcome to life under the Dome!

Hi everyone! I’m Richelle and a rising senior here at Notre Dame, majoring in chemical engineering. I come from the great state of Texas where I live in Dallas. In the fall of 2006 I studied abroad in Perth, Australia and had a lovely time. It was truly an experience that I will never forget. I’m involved in many organizations on campus including the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and Voices of Faith Gospel Choir. I’m thinking of going to graduate school after ND. I’m really looking forward to speaking with all of you and offering any help and/or advice you may need. See you soon & welcome to the family!

I am a History major from Methuen, MA. I also have a minor in the Hesburgh Program in Public Service and recently spent the 2007 Spring Semester studying in Washington, DC as a part of the Notre Dame Washington Program. While in DC, I interned in the House of Representatives for Congressman Marty Meehan of Massachusetts. I lived in Alumni Hall for three years and loved residing in the Center of the Universe. I also work for RecSports at the Rock Weight Room and enjoys golfing and visiting NDNation in my spare time. I can’t wait for the year to begin and am ready to answer any questions that you might have about life at Notre Dame

Congratulations and welcome to Notre Dame! I’m so excited to be a part of the peer advising team and getting to know all of you this year. Here’s a little bit about myself: I’m an English major planning on attending law school, and a Farley girl. This past year I studied abroad in Oxford, England, which was definitely one of the best experiences of my life so far. Asking where I’m from gets a bit complicated sometimes - I was born in China, and have also lived in Australia and England before moving to Illinois six years ago. I love to write in my spare time; I had my first novel published during my freshman year, and I also work in the Writing Center. My main motivation to being a peer advisor is to help you take advantage of these four incredible years at Notre Dame!
