Hello Class of 2011! My name is Molly Dawes and I currently live in The Woodlands, Texas, but I originally come from Virginia. Despite my father’s hopes for another family engineer, I am a Psychology major and an Italian minor. I am a proud 4th year resident of Breen-Phillips Hall (go babes!) where I served on the Frosh-O staff and as Dorm Spirit Commissioner. When I’m not in class, you can usually find me on the quad, on a run, or getting rough and tough on the BP flag football team. I spent my Spring semester Junior year studying in Rome, and if you ask, I will tell you all about the time I walked around Venice wearing a cape and a mask for Carnivale. Howdy! My name is Jordan Gallo and I am a Texas Domer. I am originally from San Antonio, Texas and live in Lyons Hall here at Notre Dame. I am the oldest of four and the first to come to Notre Dame. I am an ALPP Psychology major and hope to go to medical school and eventually practice Pediatrics. I have loved my three years here so far at Notre Dame and am so excited to meet with and get to know each and every one of you through First Year of Studies!

Hi!  I am Courtenay Moran.  I am from Geneva, Illinois (it’s a small town an hour west of Chicago).  The past three years I have lived in Pasquerilla East but am moving into a house for senior year.  I am a history and political science double major and am planning to complete a history thesis by the end of the year.  I obviously cannot get enough of history because I also work in the department as a student assistant.  When not in class or working I volunteer at Perley Elementary School, baby-sit, and spend lots of time with my friends.  This summer I took the LSAT and hoping to attend law school in fall of 2008.  I am definitely terrified of being a senior and having one year of college left but cannot wait to be a peer advisor and welcome all of you to Notre Dame!

I have lived in O'Neill Hall for the last three years and am from East Lyme, Connecticut. I am a Management Information Systems major and am currently deciding whether I want to work or attend Law School after I graduate. At Notre Dame, I have been involved in Freshman Orientation and the tutoring program at the Mendoza College of Business. I enjoy watching sports, especially baseball and football. I look forward to hearing about the experiences of freshmen and sharing my own as well.
