HISTORY Constructed in 1957 (same time as Keenan Hall) as a men's residence hall; Share Holy Cross Chapel with Keenan Hall. Notable past residents include Indiana Lt. Governor Joe Kernan '68 and football standout Terry Hanratty '69. |

INFORMATION Almost all of the rooms in Stanford Hall are doubles. There are a handful of single rooms, and a couple of triples. |

| Father Thomas
Gaughan became rector of Stanford Hall in 1992, after serving
as an Assistant Rector of Sorin Hall for three years. Father
Tom received both his bachelor degree in sociology in 1980 and
his Master of Divinity in 1986 from the University of Notre
Dame. He was ordained as a priest for the Congregation of Holy
Cross in 1987. While at Notre Dame, Father Tom has served as
the Associate Rector of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on
campus and has worked as a staff member of the Office of Campus
Ministry. Father Tom has also served as Team Chaplain for the
ND Men's Varsity Hockey Team (12 years), as well as Chaplian
for other varsity teams. |
