Meet the Ed’s

Rector: Ed Mack
Ed Mack hails from the Cleveland OH area and has been the proud rector of O’Neill Family Hall since the summer of 2002. Prior to that, he spent thirty-three years in secondary education, mostly as an English teacher, but also spending some time as a department chair, Dean of Students and Assistant Principal. Ed regards being rector as the most fulfilling role he has ever had. In his words, he believes he has had the chance to live in O’Neill Hall with the finest guys on the planet, and get to watch them mature over their four years at Notre Dame. It’s a lot like being Dad to 275 amazing young men, and it’s a real privilege!
