Elementary Spanish is not offered during the
academic year at UDLA. UDLA's language department offers Spanish language and
Mexican Civilization courses at the intermediate and advanced level during
the academic year.
Students with high
levels of proficiency in Spanish may enroll in courses in the regular
departments of the University, with Mexican students. Students are encouraged
to explore courses in their majors, especially those which may not be
available on campus at Notre Dame. UDLA is a complete university offering
the same range of majors available at Notre Dame, in Arts and Letters,
Business, Science and Engineering.
