THE LONDON UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAM LIBRARY
Our Undergraduate Library is an invaluable academic resource for students in the Program. The first floor library was refurbished and extended in 2002 to house both the expanding collection and expanding student numbers, and now provides a stylish and comfortable base from which to access the range of support services offered to students, as well as study space, audiovisual viewing equipment, and photocopying facilities.
We do not attempt to provide every resource that students might need when writing papers, but our collections are a starting point for your research and our services will help you to make the best possible use of the world-class collections available though the many libraries of London.
As part of the Program's goal of integrating academic study with the unique resources of London, your research may take you to Senate House, The Science Museum Library, London Metropolitan Archives, or the British Libraries Newspaper Library, amongst others. Independent research is encouraged, and the Program has successfully sponsored access to many of the specialist collections normally only available to academic researchers later in their careers.
The Librarian is Alice Tyrell. She has regular office hours in the Library, and is available full time to assist with research queries, either in person, via telephone [extension 7839], or by email. For further information for students, please consult the LUP Library pages. |
