The students are met there by NDA representatives and travel by bus to their Fremantle residence hall. Public transportation in the Fremantle area is available by bus or train. Bicycles are also a popular form of transport and recreation. While in residence in Australia , students may not have cars and are discouraged from hitchhiking.
Housing and Meals
Students live in a community setting in Port Lodge. This hotel-like facility is within walking distance of the University's main academic buildings. As on the Notre Dame campus, rectors and resident assistants will be available to the students. Two communal meals are served each week. For the rest of the meals, a cash food allowance will be provided for students to use at their discretion.
