The Office of International Studies provides shape and substance to the belief that students develop awareness of the importance and benefit of a global perspective through international study and complementary campus activities.
The administrator of over 40 programs and over five summer programs in 20 countries, OIS is charged with ensuring that every participating student come to understand their potential as leaders in a global world through exposure to international academics, research, and cultural engagement.
On campus, the office actively pursues partnerships with Notre Dame leaders whose international involvement infuses a global perspective into programs and cultural activities.
The Office of International Studies is a division of the Provost's office of the University of Notre Dame. The function of the OIS is to serve as an intermediary between the various off-campus programs and the University at large.
