Father Joyce improving

      Father Edmund Joyce remains in the South Bend St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, but his condition is improving, said Father William Seetch, religious superior for the Holy Cross Community. Joyce, the executive vice president emeritus and a 1937 Notre Dame graduate, was hospitalized Sept. 20 after suffering a stroke.
