ND graduate awarded Purple Heart for service in Iraq
U.S. Marine and former Notre Dame graduate Dustin Ferrell was awarded a Purple Heart, the oldest military decoration, after sustaining injuries while on duty in Iraq. He will be released from a Maryland hospital today. Gen.
