It was a great weekend for Notre Dame women's tennis as they went 3-0 and will most likely move into the top 10 this week. The Irish lost only one team point as they defeated Virginia Tech 7-0 on Friday, eighth-ranked Wake Forest 5-0 on Saturday and North Carolina 6-1.

Connor LaRose, a three-year starter and captain of the Notre Dame men's soccer team in 2000, was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/ adidas Men's College Scholar All-America Third Team. LaRose was among 67 collegiate players honored after being named to the Men's Scholar Athlete North Central Regional first team.
