Hockey coach thanks student body
Dave Poulin
Irish hockey head coach
On behalf of the Fighting Irish hockey players, coaches and support staff, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for coming out to support your peers in such great numbers at the Notre Dame hockey games versus Nebraska-Omaha on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 18 and 19. The Notre Dame students have been, and will continue to be, some of the best and most supportive fans in the Joyce Center.
There is nothing like creating a home-ice advantage in your own arena, and the Notre Dame hockey team has you, the students, to thank for this accomplishment. We are thrilled to have you back on campus after returning from the semester break, and we are looking forward to hearing and seeing your Irish spirit in the Joyce Center for the last four home games this season.
After splitting with Miami-Ohio on the road this weekend, we are geared up and ready for victory in the Joyce for this Friday and Saturday versus Alaska Fairbanks at 7 p.m. Thanks for your enthusiastic support of Irish hockey, and thanks for showing the community what it means to be an Irish fan!
