Helium Ion Source (HIS) is used to produce negatively charged 3He and 4He beams for injection into the FN Tandem Van de Graaff accelerator.

The following is a list of recent beams produced by our SNICS II source, including typical beam currents and cathode materials. It should be noted that this is not a complete list, and that the typical beam currents listed below are sometimes limited by the amount of beam that may be injected into the FN Tandem Van de Graaff accelerator.
