BIOGRAPHICAL
INFORMATION
I was appointed the
DeCrane Professor of International Economics at the University of Notre
Dame in 2003. Before coming to Notre Dame, I was Professor of Economics at the Ohio State University
where I had taught and conducted research since 1983. I received my Ph.D.
in Economics from the University
of Chicago in 1983 and my B.A. in
Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1978. My primary
research interests are in the areas of international macroeconomics,
exchange rate economics, and applied time-series econometrics.
