SECURE DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Northeastern University
Architect, implement and manage hardware and software infrastructure for the transfer, storage, and analysis of sensitive research databases and data sets. Create tools for efficient secure access while maintaining privacy and security. Assist in the administration and security of research workstations.
Work closely with: postdocs and students to facilitate their computational needs; NU system administrators and other IS teams to establish a secure computing environment; data providers to maximize data transfer efficiency while maintaining privacy.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Linux or UNIX system administration experience
- 2+ years of DBA experience working with sensitive data and large databases (TB size or larger a plus)
- 2+ years of experience with various scripting/programming languages (C++, Java, Perl, Python)
- 3+ years of security/privacy/crypto experience
