Carrie Groenewold is the graduate assistant for the Women’s Liturgical Choir.
She is currently in the Master of Sacred Music program at Notre Dame with an
organ concentration, and studies organ with Craig Cramer. Besides assisting
with the Women’s Liturgical choir, Carrie serves as a Basilica organist for
daily Mass. Carrie did her undergrad work at Dordt College in Sioux Center,
Iowa, where she studied organ with Dr. Joan Ringerwole. There, she received
a B.A. in Organ Performance and Church Music. She has participated in
numerous organ competitions and has received prizes in the AGO Twin Cities
Chapter competition, the John R. Rodland Scholarship Fund Competition, the
NFMC Organ Competition, and the MTNA Young Artist Organ Competition.
