Claire Poole, Office Coordinator

Claire Poole is the office coordinator for the Notre Dame Vision programs. She came to South Bend to be near her first grandchild – and found Notre Dame Vision.

Claire has 20 years of experience as a paralegal and legal secretary and utilizes all of that experience in coordinating the office for Notre Dame Vision. She also relies on her inherited compulsion to organize. (“Mom was a reference Librarian.”) The summer of 2008 was Claire’s inaugural experience, and it was just as exciting as she hoped it would be. She is already creating spreadsheets for dorm assignments!

Besides the years of experience as an office assistant, Claire has served as a volunteer Catechist at her local parish. That local parish was in the Diocese of Austin, Texas. Understandably, the winter was a challenge - but Claire now owns her first snow shovel. She feels that it is no coincidence that she moved to South Bend at precisely the time Notre Dame Vision needed an office coordinator.
