The following tables show the Notre Dame-St. Mary's Gymnastics Club schedule for the for the current season. Click on the link to move to the schedule for the appropriate team. These were last updated on 1/23/2012.
The highlighted "Away" meet team names contain a link to either a Google Map or a satellite view of the competing school. After you click on the individual link, select either "Map", "Satellite", or "Hybrid" (satellite view with map street names, for the type of map you'd like to view. Use the slider on the left side to select how close the view is set.
Any member of the gymnastics club can participate in a competition. Competition is not required, but we highly recommend that you compete because you will have additonal interaction with Notre Dame St. Mary's Gymnastics Club members and also - because it is fun!
You do not have to compete if you do not want to. Our club has no skill requirement to compete, and we have had gymnasts with many diverse experience compete. Most of our women competitors are often level 7 or 8 gymnasts. Our men compete at a similar level.
You do not have to compete all-around at meets, you can choose which event(s) that you want to compete. For our club, there is no minimum number of meets you have to compete in. You can compete in one, two or all of them, it is up to you.
However, if you are planning on attending Nationals in April, you must attend and compete in at least 2 meets prior to the national competition. The current NAIGC rule states "You must be affiliated with a participating club (which could include the NAIGC Alumni Club) and be in good standing. You must have competed in at least 1 event in at least 2 meets during the current season -- (exceptions to this rule are usually granted for legitimate reasons). There are no qualifying scores. We encourage participation".
