Maria Wilson is a sophomore civil engineering student at the University of Notre Dame, who is originally from the very small town of Girard, Kansas. From a young age, she was taught about the importance of service by her parents, her Church, and her community. She believes greatly in using our special talents to uniquely impact the world, which in why she is so excited to be involved in NDSEED.
At Notre Dame, she lives in McGlinn Hall, and is very active in Hall Council as an Academic Commissioner. Additionally, she is an officer in the College Democrats club and frequently volunteers for the local homeless shelter and various political campaigns. She also works for the Phone Center, so don't be surprised if she calls your house looking for donations to the University! In her free time, she enjoys having impromptu dance parties, watching Doctor Who, and drinking far too many cups of coffee. She wishes to thank all of the generous sponsors of NDSEED, because without them, this rare and important opportunity would not be possible. |
