Luis Llanos is a sophomore mechanical engineering major originally from Cali, Colombia but now residing in St. Louis, MO. Living in Keenan Hall, he is vice-president of his dorm, he is a Notre Dame tour guide, and part of La Alianza and Diversity Council. When he is not doing homework or working, he enjoys playing soccer for Keenan Hall Interhall soccer team.
Luis became a Mechanical engineer, like his father, because he felt like he could help a lot of people with such a degree. He hopes to continue his efforts to build structures and aid developing countries after his experience with NDSEED. He is extremely excited to travel to Nicaragua and get started working on the bridge.
