Daniel Rish

Daniel Rish is a sophomore civil engineering major from Courtdale, Pennsylvania. At Notre Dame, Daniel is employed by the Learning Resource Center as a physics tutor. In 2011, Daniel spent his spring break doing service-learning through the Appalachia Program, working at Appalachian Science in the Public Interest (ASPI) in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky.

Daniel chose civil engineering because it has such a tangible effect on the lives of everyone. He is very excited to help people lacking the most basic infrastructure through NDSEED. This trip will be a great chance to learn about the world and use engineering skills in a very real way.
