I was born & educated (mostly) in Westchester County, New York (Marymount), & I used to babysit for John Cheever's children. Have lived all over the place—Europe, Central & South America, Puerto Rico—& recently moved from Caracas, Venezuela, to the state of Jalisco, in Mexico. I'm a psychotherapist by profession & currently do volunteer work 5 days a week in the Mexican public health system (I.M.S.S.), which I am finding so personally rewarding I have no words to describe it.
