"The need to defend one's life need not be by appointment, but may
occur at any unorthodox time, therefore the forms and techniques of
the martial arts are naturally endless."
When I think of Billy Curran I remember the year we lived off campus
together. There we were, first year blackbelts, first year instructors.
Gary had graduated in May and Brian was busy in law school. Basically,
we were on our own. Looking back I wonder how we made it. At the time
we were having too much fun to worry, much. I remember many a night
sitting around the kitchen table discussing the arts and the club. It
was a great year--Billy even met his wife-to-be living in the apartment
above us.
