Notre
Dame law students manage to find a comfortable balance
between their studies and involvement in both Law School
and University activities. In addition to the four law
journals, student organizations at the Law School reflect
and respond to the professional and personal interests
of the student body. Through involvement in these extracurricular
activities, students broaden their classroom learning
experiences, exercise their leadership abilities and pursue
special interests. Many of these associations and organizations
sponsor speaker programs, social events, and service projects.
The
list of active student groups varies from year to year
according to the interests of the student body, but
recently active groups include the following:

of the Law School. The SBA and other student organizations
sponsor a host of social activities throughout the year
including picnics, semi-formal dances, and an annual
talent show; provide opportunities for athletic competition
among law students through the Law School through basketball
and golf tournaments; and organize outings to local
and Chicago ballparks, amusement parks and nearby Lake
Michigan.
