The
University's Office of Student Financial Aid, in accordance
with federal guidelines, annually develops a Student
Budget (also referred to as "cost of attendance")
that represents the maximum amount of money that an
independent student, living a modest lifestyle, should
need during the regular academic year as a full-time
student. The Student Budget is intended to cover the
cost of tuition, fees, books, supplies and a living
allowance for the time the student is enrolled. The
Student Budget represents the maximum amount of financial
assistance that a student may be awarded for the academic
year (the total of grants, scholarships, loans, and
on-campus employment).
