Law Library
The Kresge Law Library serves the students and faculty
of the Notre Dame Law School, as well as faculty and
students at the University and others with a need to
conduct legal research. The Law Library is located in
the center of the Law Building and provides students
with a myriad of services for student research and study.
The Law Library is available for student use on a 24-hour
basis and is staffed by reference/research librarians
between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The
Law Library's collection totals 588,000 volume equivalents
covering every aspect of the law. Additionally, the
Library has extensive collections in the areas of human
rights, jurisprudence, and law and religion.
Technology
The Law School provides significant computing support
for students and other members of the Law School community.
A staff of five, full-time professionals offers assistance
with both hardware and software, in addition to other
computing and technology needs. The Kresge Law Library
is equipped with a wireless network, providing students
with the capability of conducting online research from
any location in the Library. Additionally, the Library
includes 47 PCs and two MacIntosh computers sharing
three laser printers. Most classrooms provide access
to power for laptop use; however, classrooms currently
do not offer access to online resources.
