Professor Richard Garnett will present a paper, "Salt in the Springtime: Pope Benedict XVI and the Freedom of the Church," at the First Annual Scarpa Conference, which will be held on September 15, 2006, at the Villanova University School of Law. The conference, "From John Paul II to Benedict XVI:
