A variety of scholarships are offered by philanthropic organizations
at the local, regional, and national levels. These awards
usually are limited to particular populations of students
based on geography, class year, area of interest in law,
or ethnic background. Please note that this listing was assembled

In addition to external scholarships and fellowships, a
number of writing competitions are hosted annually for current
law students. These competitions typically require a written
work on a particular subject involving the law. Cash prizes
for these competitions generally range from $1,000 to $5,000.
