UNFORTUNATELY THE HURLING CLUB IS NO LONGER ACTIVE AT THE UNIVERSITY. THE WEBSITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AND SHOULD BE UPDATED BY 4/1/2007.

The Hurling Club is an important cultural arm of the Gaelic Society. The Gaelic Society, in co-operation with ND Grad student Gerry Quinn, is seeking to increase awareness of Hurling, Ireland's national field sport, among Notre Dame students in a non-competitive environment.

This is a classic! Made by a group of young lads in their backgarden in Kilkenny, Ireland. They have pictures and fast running videos braking down the sport into its various skills. Starting with how to hold the hurley, right up to tackleing opponents. Well worth a look and the videos have sound.
