Welcome to the Notre Dame Education Outreach Program's web page. We are still a very young club, so there is not much available on our web page yet. If you have any questions about this program, please contact one of the officers or our advisor, Prof. Bernstein. Our email addresses are at the bottom of the page.

Important Dates:
Next Meeting: Sometime in late March / Early April
Next Presentation: Sometime in the first 2 weeks after break

What is NDEOP?
NDEOP is designed to give Notre Dame students a chance to assist in the education of young people in the local area. Students develop presentations to be given in a classroom setting. Currently, we are developing presentations for the middle school and high school level. The purpose of these presentations is twofold: One, to assist local schools in teaching the sciences and Two, to raise awareness of engineering and science as an educational possibility. Local schools have expressed an interest in our program, and we are in need of people to help make presentations and develop new presentations.

How can I help?
We are always in need of more people to give presentations. The presentations are all to grade school or high school students. Before every presentation, we will go over all the material covered, so even if you do not know much about a topic, you can still help with a presentation. We also need people to coordinate each presentation. This includes people to find a date and place for an event, someone to arrange transportation, and someone to make sure that all the equipment gets to the right place on time.
