Notre Dame places a strong emphasis on education
and intellectual growth, but the University also stresses the development
of the whole person. One of the most distinctive features of campus life
is found in residence halls and in the sense of community at the University.
This strong sense of community extends beyond campus boundaries as nearly
half of Notre Dame's undergraduates participate in 24 study
abroad programs on six continents. Always tied to educational outcomes, study abroad
experiences build respect and understanding for different cultures and
leadership skills. As important, study abroad programs for engineers
are designed to mesh with college curricula, so that spending a semester
abroad does not affect your graduation date.
International study programs for engineers include:
London, England
Perth, Australia
Dublin, Ireland
Monterrey, Mexico
Cairo, Egypt
Karlsruhe, Germany
