Point 7 Now. Point 7 Now was a conference held in San Francisco on October 26-27, 2006 with the goal of increasing America’s foreign aid to .7% of National Income. Notable speakers included Jeffrey Sachs among a variety of other influential world leaders. The CSC is tentatively planning a video feed of this event. More info to come. |

Millenium Project “The Millennium Project was commissioned by the United Nations Secretary-General in 2002 to develop a concrete action plan for the world to reverse the grinding poverty, hunger and disease affecting billions of people. Headed by Professor Jeffrey Sachs, the Millennium Project is an independent advisory body and presented its final recommendations, Investing in Development: A Practical Plan to Achieve the Millennium Development Goals to the Secretary-General in January 2005. Malaria No More “Malaria No More is an inclusive, grassroots movement to control malaria, a preventable and treatable disease that kills more than one million people annually, especially in Africa, where one child dies from malaria every 30 seconds.
