BLSA Weekend
The 33rd annual BLSA Weekend is scheduled for Friday April 7, 2006 through Sunday April 9, 2006. Alumni and prospective students, please mark your calendars! This year's chapter is looking forward to an exciting weekend of introductions, reunions, and the exchange of ideas.
Admitted prospective students, BLSA Weekend is an annual reunion hosted by the Black Law Students Association. I encourage each of you to attend! The event filled weekend serves as a wonderful opportunity to visit the law school, meet BLSA alumni, current students, and your potential classmates. It is also a wonderful opportunity to learn more about ND BLSA and the greater NDLS community.
This year's BLSA Weekend theme is, "The Chaos Behind the Crisis: Revisiting the Forgotten Struggle." The theme speaks to issues such as the lack of minority representation in the political process, the development of the black economy, government response to disaster, and the erosion of affirmative action.
I encourage each of you to attend the BLSA Weekend festivities.
Please do not hesitate to contact LisaMarie Collins, BLSA Vice President, at lcollin2@nd.edu with questions or comments.
