The
Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies recently launched Irish Angels,
a forum for entrepreneurial-minded members of the ND family to contact
each other for networking purposes and to foster the development of
new business opportunities. Composed of a select group of ND alumni
and friends who are successful entrepreneurs, the Angels act as a
resource to current ND students and alumni in their new venture pursuits.
They provide ongoing mentoring, internship opportunities and start-up
funding.
IrishAngels hail from all over the world and from a variety of industries
- from health care and manufacturing to technology and finance. As
a group, members possess a broad range of skills. Among the ranks
of IrishAngels are senior executives, family business owners, venture
capitalists, lawyers, bankers, software engineers and scientists.
