Vecchio Elected American
Psychological Association Society Fellow
Robert
Vecchio, the Franklin D. Schurz Professor of Management, has been elected
a fellow in the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists
of the American Psychological Association.
Vecchio teaches
and conducts research in organizational behavior and human resource
management. He is the author of Organizational Behavior (Dryden
Press) and the editor of Leadership: Understanding the Dynamics of
Power and Influence in Organizations, (Notre Dame Press). He has
also published numerous articles, monographs, papers and scholarly reviews
in journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy
of Management Review, Organizational Behavior and Human Performance
and the Journal of Applied Psychology.
In 1995, he became
the editor of the Journal of Management. He has served on the
editorial boards of the Academy of Management Review, the Journal
of Management, the Journal of Managerial Inquiry, the Employee
Responsibilities and Rights Journal, the International Journal
of Applied Quality Management and the International Journal of
Organizational Analysis.
