Anthony, who was named director in May, has already implemented a variety of activities to achieve her goals: keeping MBA alumni connected to the program and establishing a continuing education link for graduates. The program's pre-game tailgate parties before all home football games have been a huge success this season, and Anthony has helped current students establish networking nights with MBA alumni in various cities). Currently working on establishing an e-mail database for all MBA graduates, Anthony plans to offer a variety of web-based services to alumni through a newly designed web site. "We want to offer cutting-edge educational and career development opportunities through the web," said Anthony. "Our graduates are top-notch professionals with high-level, interesting careers. They are an invaluable resource to us," said Anthony. "We want to keep MBA grads in the fold. They are passionate about their ties to Notre Dame." After graduating with a degree in accounting from Notre Dame in 1985, Anthony spent six years as an audit manager at Deloitte & Touche. She later returned to the University in 1991 as director of audit and advisory services. While working, she earned her MBA from the University, graduating magna cum laude in 1996. She spent the last two years as director of the University's Year 2000 compliance efforts. Marita Hoffman Connor (MBA '98) has joined Anthony in the MBA Alumni office as director of MBA Alumni Events. Click here to read more about Connor.
