Merit-based scholarships to minority students pursuing studies in business, finance, economics, accounting, information technology, or the liberal arts.

Requirements:
*be entering your senior year of college in fall 2010
*be a member of a racial minority
*be enrolled full-time in a 4 year accredited college or university in the United States
*have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
*be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States

The program's goal is to remove financial barriers for students who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) Congressional Internship

2010 CHCI Congressional Internship

The Congressional Internship Program provides college students with a paid 
Congressional work placement on Capitol Hill for a period of twelve weeks
(Spring/Fall) or eight weeks (Summer).  This unmatched experience allows
students to learn first hand about our nation's legislative process.

Promising Latino undergraduates from across the country are selected for this
leadership training program.  Students gain work experience, participate in a
community service project, and receive educational and professional
programming provided by CHCI. This comprehensive three-prong
approach provides extraordinary learning and networking opportunities
for students.

An international fellowship program where fellows are supported to participate
in eight-week research experiences in Australia, China, Japan (10 weeks),
Korea, New Zealand, Singapore and Taiwan. The program provides a $5,000
summer stipend, round-trip airfare, living expenses, and an introduction to
the society, culture, language, and research environment.

For more than 20 years, the GEICO Achievement Award program for college
sophomores and juniors majoring in business, computer science, mathematics
and related fields has existed.

In 2010, GEICO will present over $75,000 in Achievement Awards to college
