A note on Mathematica

The"/." command is a substitution command, which is used frequently when doing computer algebra.  On the left side of /. is the term that is receiving the substitution.  On the right side of the /. is the designation for what we are replacing, either any derivative of [Graphics:../Images/lubricatedflow_gr_15.gif]or just [Graphics:../Images/lubricatedflow_gr_16.gif](we can't do the 0 derivative substitution with this command), with the velocity gradient substituted in.
