Research Summary

Cooperative communication techniques are usually studied in networks with a small set of nodes at fixed locations. However, very little is known about the analysis and design of cooperative schemes for ad hoc wireless networks, where a large number of locally-cooperating node clusters interfere with one another. My work at Notre Dame involves studying this problem by using tools from stochastic geometry and information theory.
