Dame Club Volleyball Tournaments
Every year Notre Dame Men's Club Volleyball hosts an invitational tournament. Below is information regarding past tournaments.
2001 Notre Dame Invitational
Notre Dame held a 6 team pre-season men's club volleyball tournament on Saturday November 10th at the Rolfs Sports Recreation Center. Results will be posted.
2000 Notre Dame Invitational
Notre Dame held an 8 team pre-season men's club volleyball tournament on Saturday November 4th at the Rolfs Sports Recreation Center. Congratulations to Saint Louis University, winner of the tournament. Thanks to everyone who participated in and helped out with this tournament for making it possible.

Captains Meeting: 9:15 AM in Rolfs Meeting Room
Tournament Format: Two pools of four teams each. Round robin pool play will take place in the morning, starting at 10 AM. Off teams will provide refs, line judges, scorekeeper, and score flipper. A single elimination tournament will immediately follow pool play with the top three teams from each pool advancing to tournament play. The finals is scheduled for 6 PM, and USA Refs will be used for the final and semi-final games only. The winning team will receive a plaque.

Tournament starts at 4 PM, with the finals scheduled for 6 PM. 4th place teams do not qualify for tournament, but must stay to ref first round.
Rule Changes: NIRSA has adopted several rule changes for the 2001 Championships, and our tournament will reflect these rule changes. Notable changes are allowing the use of a Libero (with 8 substitutions), and the serve is also allowed to touch the net. These will be used throughout the tournament.
Playing Venue: Rolfs Sports RecCenter, on the campus of Notre Dame.
2 Hardwood Floor Courts To get a map of campus, go to www.nd.edu/map Rolfs Sports RecCenter is Buildilng #75 Parking is available at the visitor parking lot 200 yards from the RecCenter.
Hotel Information: There are several hotels nearby campus on Rt. 31, and various other locations. Check Mapquest, or another online map database to find out the distance of the hotel from campus (You can use Notre Dame, IN 46556 as the destination address - No street address is necessary). Below is a list of a few hotels, however there are many others. If you want, you can search www.ase.net for a list of hotels and more information on each hotel (rates, address, etc.) in South Bend.
