MUSICAL STYLE

Unchained Melodies utilizes the gift of voice in a spirit of ministry. Through positively-themed music and uplifting Christian messages, we strive to brighten the greater Notre Dame community and share God’s love with those around us. We specialize in upbeat, feel-good songs with a positive Christian message. These songs range from gospel and praise to Christian pop/rock to secular songs with inspirative themes. Our performances are energized and fun— complete with beat boxing, hip bouncing, dumb jokes, and occasional leaps into the air.

GROUP STYLE

Unchained Melodies is both a musical group and a group of friends. All rehearsals are conducted by the members, who also choose the group’s repertoire and vote on soloists. We enjoy rehearsals, eat dinners together on Sunday nights, have frequent group get-togethers, and generally provide a strong web of friends for all members.
