At the end of the Middle Ages, the Dominican liturgy was the official liturgy for this Finnish diocese. This Missal, that is, a book containing all the prayers required for the celebration of Mass throughout the year, had to be especially commissioned in Lübeck.

This facsimile of an early printed book has been included in this exhibit as a reminder that printing was an invention of the Middle Ages.
