Abstract ~ This document concisely summarizes the project requirements and goals, and includes a brief description of the product as well as the process used to design it.

Executive Summary ~ The executive summary contains key technical information describing product features and design activities.  Each subsection gives specific information regarding a key area of the project.

Concept Memo ~ This report outlines the primary conceptual design developed by the group. Also, it details key technical issues that the ACE team intends to address during the feasibility studies as well as a schedule of key deliverable items or milestones for the remainder of the project.

Trade Study Proposals ~ This engineering feasibility study is the major individual deliverable. The actual study is preceded by the submission of a brief proposal that is intended to assist each engineer in planning this key element of the project. Note this study must produce quantitative information that should be used in assessing the feasibility or important characteristics of the proposed concept.

Trade Studies ~ This is an important source for the quantitative justification for the decisions made during the design process and demonstrates each individual engineer’s ability to develop and use analytic or numerical models and to provide quantitative justification for design decisions. The results are based upon appropriate engineering modeling and analysis.

Prototype Grading Rubric ~ The prototype grading rubric contains a list of objectives that may be quantitatively measured based on predetermined project requirements.

Project Nugget ~ This document outlines the purpose, applications, critical components, key design elements, and success criteria.

System Operation ~ The system operation document is a detailed description of various events of the designed soldering process.
