MBAA Admissions Committee
Purpose: The Admissions Committee was established to provide Notre Dame’s MBA students with opportunities to assist the MBA administration with the admissions process. The Admissions Committee serves as the face of the student body for prospective students, and as a result, we play a vital role in the continual development of Notre Dame’s MBA program.
Activities:
Committee members perform three basic duties:
- Student Ambassador – We host prospective MBA students visiting campus. This entails taking the visitor to lunch, taking them to a class, and giving a tour of Notre Dame’s campus and the Mendoza College of Business.
- Student Interviewer – Conduct formal interviews of prospective students and provide an evaluation of the candidate’s qualifications. In this way, we work closely with the MBA administration to ensure that Notre Dame assembles the most qualified collection of students possible.
- Welcome Weekend/Open House Events – The Admissions Committee works with the administration to help design and organize these events for visiting applicants. Committee members also help facilitate the events themselves and serve as student representatives for the visitors.
