Former branch of service, rank, position and station:

Why I Decided to Attend the Notre Dame MBA Program:
"I looked around at a number of programs, and Notre Dame's stands out from the rest for three main reasons. First, as you will see during the admissions process, Notre Dame recognizes everyone's individuality. You are not just another application, but a person that they really want to get to know and because of that, they treat you well. Second, the values of Notre Dame are real. They place the same emphasis on ethics and integrity as the armed services do. Finally, the Notre Dame network and name are outstanding and make an excellent compliment to the military network for transitioning military and those that are staying."

Advice for military personnel considering an MBA:
"If you want to go to business school, start your research and preparation now. There is no shortage to the resources that you can get through the military to prepare you for the transition. Work on your resume so that your military experience translates well to the civilian world. Go to the education center for study materials for the GMAT, and learn how the military will pay for you to take your graduate exams if they are not locally offered. Work on your interview skills and try to limit your use of jargon. And if you can, visit the schools so you can see what they are really like. The military has given you so many advantages in terms of experience, leadership, and resources. You need to harness them to make yourself into the most marketable candidate."
