2009 Notre Dame MBA Marketing Club Symposium
“Marketing’s Role in a Sustainable Society”
The topic of sustainability is everywhere in the business world today and the Notre Dame MBA Marketing Club has decided to showcase a variety of roles marketing can play during the 3rd Annual Notre Dame Marketing Symposium, taking place March 26-27, on the Notre Dame campus. This year's theme is "Marketing's Role in a Sustainable Society.”
The Notre Dame Marketing Symposium is the club's way of providing current students, alumni, and industry professionals an opportunity to gain insight into the many aspects of marketing, learn about leading marketing organizations and build their careers. The conference is open to the general public as well as all Notre Dame students, staff and faculty. Look for on-line registration to open March 16th and 17th and the deadline for registration is March 23rd.
A few of this year’s speakers include: Toni McEwan, Marketing Manager at Dow who works to validate innovative “green” technologies which deliver optimal performance in an environmentally-conscious manner; Michael Boyack, Manager, EH&S Product Safety & Environmental Delivery for Xerox Corporation whose responsibilities include product-related environmental sustainability initiatives; and Paul Murray, Director of Environmental Safety and Sustainability at Herman Miller, Inc. who focuses on corporate environmental responsibility.
The Notre Dame MBA Marketing Symposium will kick-off Thursday evening with an opening reception at Warren Golf Course, with speakers from Chicago 2016. The Friday portion of the Symposium will be held at the Mendoza College of Business and will include speakers, a panel on marketing and sustainability, as well as breakfast and lunch.
