BEIJING & SHANGHAI, CHINA (InterTerm Intensives Offering)
As we enter the 21st century, the rise of China will be the most important single event that will shape and change the world forever for future generations. This change is unprecedented, both in terms of speed and in magnitude; the impact of these changes are already radiating far and wide, radically changing the political, economic, and social order. We can only expect the intensity of such an impact to expand as China gains greater prominence on the world stage. In today’s highly interconnected global economy, happenings in one part of the world inevitably affect other parts. With China returning to the global economy in almost every industry, one of the most important topics on the agenda of board meetings has been the formulation of at least a response to the rise of China, if not a China strategy.
