Inclement Weather Information
If we have inclement weather on Sunday, the ceremony will be held in Stepan Center. We will notify you before 7:00am via email if we need to move the ceremony inside. You are still required to arrive by 8 AM to line up. In the event that the weather looks uncertain on Sunday morning, you may call the Executive MBA Office (631-3622) to verify the ceremony location. The EMBA Office will be open from 7-9:30 AM on Sunday to answer any questions you may have. Please note that seating may be limited if the ceremony is conducted inside, so some guests may be required to stand. Please inform your guests to arrive as early as possible to avoid standing.

Honors Designation
Honors are determined as follows*:

Cumulative GPA

Designation
4.0

Highest Honors (Summa Cum Laude)
3.8

High Honors (Magna Cum Laude)
3.6

Honors (Cum Laude)

* Note that there is no rounding up of GPA in determining honors designations.

Due to the short lead time between when final grades are due and graduation, the final honors designations will not be printed in the program at the MBA diploma ceremony. They will, however, be announced as your name is called to receive your diploma.

The University produces an unofficial commencement program for graduation day. Honors designations are printed in this program using the standings at the end of the fall semester. After graduation, the University reprints an official copy of this program to make any necessary additions and corrections to these designations. If you are affected by these changes, you will receive a copy of the final program in the mail or you may contact Nancy Osth in the Registrar's Office to request one at (574) 631-5183.

Likewise, because diplomas must be printed in advance and you actually receive a diploma at the ceremony, the diploma will reflect your status at the end of the fall semester. You will receive a corrected diploma in the mail after graduation if your status has changed after the spring semester. Please contact Nancy Osth if you have any questions.

Ceremony Photographer Information
The MBA program has contracted with Chappell Studios as the official graduation photographer for the MBA diploma ceremony. Each graduate will have a photo taken as he/she receives a diploma on stage. Proofs will be sent to you (with an option to purchase) at the address supplied previously to the MBA Office. Family and friends are welcome to take photographs, too.
